I recently completed the AI Agents with Model Context Protocol & TypeScript specialization from Vanderbilt University on Coursera, a 4-course program covering the patterns and architecture behind production-ready AI agents. Topics included designing MCP tool servers, building autonomous agents in TypeScript, prompt engineering, and principles of trustworthy AI — a solid overview of what it looks like to move from using AI tools to building systems around them.

I’ve completed two IBM specializations on Coursera: Generative AI Fundamentals and Generative AI for Software Developers. These programs covered everything from the basics of foundation models and prompt engineering to practical applications in software development like code refactoring and bug detection. It was a great deep dive into how generative AI is transforming the industry and how to apply these tools effectively in a professional workflow.
